I deleted the 4952-AMT.
On the 4952 Worksheet, I changed the line 3a description
FROM: "Disallowed Exp from 2019 Line 7", amount 44,585
TO: "Inv. Int. Exp paid or accrued in 2020", amount 0.00 (since this field fills in line (1) on the main 4952 form.
Now my 4952 form is correct -and- TT saw it as correct too! 2020 Federal now Complete.
I was on the phone with TT cust. service. They sent me three different links that were supposed to get me the 2020 Calif. State download, but they all just take me to TT Community Forums 'How To X' page. If I log in, it takes me to the main Intuit site asking what kind of product I want to buy. No place to enter a Key Code or reference to State forms.
Oh well, I guess I will just see what State forms I see in my 2019 enrolled agent prepared return and request those 2020 forms from Calif. and fill them out manually. I have not done that in decades. ;o)
