Not sure with which version you are using but after entering rental info you should come to a page that asks if you eligible for the QBI safe harbor
then it asks do you want to take the QBI safe harbor and then
the question no I don't or can't should be checked
then the next page is this Qualified Business Income?
No, this income is not qualified should be checked
then you should see a line that says the QBI will not be taken
