Hello! First time user! I just received something in the mail from GetGigRefund.com. It states that "since I filed self-employed income in 2020 and 2021 I am eligible under the Self-Employed Tax Credit (SETC) to receive retroactive Covid relief funds to help self-employed/Independent contractors recoup losses from Covid-related lockdowns, quarantines, etc. The IRS is enabling anyone that reported self-employed income to claim sick days and family care days." They have my loan #, Lender Name and amount in PPP I was paid right in the form. Is this legit? The govt didn't even make us aware that independent contractors were eligible for the PPP loan so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't notify us about something like this too.
