Maybe you can answer a question for me. I have been claiming my son for 14-years now through Turbo Tax and just went to court with his dad and because the Judge has instructed him to pay child support. The absent father had requested to be able to file the child on his taxes. I always file 1 on my w2 and at the end of year then claim my son. Can a judge grant an absent parent the ability to file my child when he has never been here to begin with?
