Deductions & credits
The IRS considers you a business if you are an independent contractor. If you get income as an independent contractor for 2 different business activities they are different businesses and you would have 2 Sch C's. Of course, if you have only one business that receives payments from more than one source, you would deduct your premium expenses from that one business. It is more complicated if you do have multiple businesses. See here for more on this:
