The Schedule A that the IRS gets only shows total medical expenses. There is no detail sent to them. Turbotax asks for details to jog your memory. You could enter the total of all payments net of reimbursements and excluding any paid through an HSA or MSA on say the line for doctors. Don't use the long-term care line because that is limited. Keep the documentation of the payments should the IRS inquire.
