You'll need to step through the interview process again, where you can make your changes. To edit or delete any medical expenses in TurboTax Online:
- Open TurboTax Online
- Select Tax Home in the left pane
- On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the Deductions & Credits box, then select Start, Continue, or Pick up where you left off
- On the Your tax breaks page, select the dropdown to the right of Medical Expenses
- Select Start or Revisit to the right of Medical Expenses
- Proceed through the following screens, making any changes necessary
If you're not using the Online version, the desktop procedure is virtually the same.
