Deductions & credits

Follow these steps:

1. In the NY return, go through answering questions until you reach the screen Changes to Federal Income.
2. Scroll down to Business related adjustments
3. Select UBT and enter the amount deducted from business income for the federal return
4. Select MCTMT and enter the amount deducted on your federal return
