Personal living expenses are never tax deductible. You can deduct ordinary and necessary business expenses if you are self-employed. That includes computer maintenance agreements. However, if you have a mixed expense, it is up to you to allocate the expense between business and personal use. If audited, you can be asked to show how you made that allocation. The IRS does not have to award any expense deduction unless you can prove it with what they consider to be reliable and accurate records.
