I am MFS and want to pick Standard deduction even though it's lower than the Itemized deduction amount. For Federal, upon answering TT the question and I am able to get it pick Standard deduction. But for CA state, its still picking up Itemized deduction. How do I get TT to pick Standard deduction for state?
Both me and my wife need to take standard deduction.
