@MarilynG1 Thanks for the reply, but that is not working for me. The only way I can make the error go away in TurboTax (I am running the desktop version on a Mac) is to select "option a" in Box 7. After going through the questions in the "Easy Step", I am left with an error so I am forced to go to the 1099-DIV form and select an option for Box 7 to make the error go away...and the only one that has worked is "option a".
It appears I either have to select 1) "option a" or 2) provide a value for "option d"
