1) yes, I do not remember being told in 2022 that I had an excess contribution.
2) I did not have a 5329 attached to my 2022 taxes. On my 1040 Schedule 2 Part 2 line 8 from last year, there is no entry, but the box 'check here if not required' is also not checked.
3/4) I did not see/or have not answered either of these questions yet on my 2023 interview, but it is specifically calling out "excess HSA contributions carryover from 2022 still in HSA account" as $7,300.
