Auto update is always on for me. I found the spot to update prior depreciation and fixed, but since both items should have come forward when the 2022 return was transferred, they will presumably remain incorrect until manually fixed for anyone this happened to. (And I have no reason to think I'm special here, ie it may have happened to everyone.)
BTW, the latest update introduced what appears to be an error on form 5695, although seemingly innocuous. TT now requires that the address be entered in Part 1 even if that part is not used. (This might apply to Parts 2 & 3 also but I already have addresses there since I used them.) I filed last night without the address in Part 1 and both fed & CA accepted the returns within a couple of minutes, so this address seems superfluous.
