I believe you are inquiring about the first time homebuyer credit that was in affect starting in the year of 2008. For the original credit, you had to pay it back over fifteen years, or until you sold or stopped using the house as your primary residence. That credit expired at the end of December 2008. The credit after that did not require a payback, it would not affect your tax return after the year you purchased your house. It expired in 2010. If you mean you sold your house in 2010 and needed to pay back the remaining credit but failed to do so, you will have to amend your 2010 tax return. You cannot use TurboTax to do that as the program is not available going back that far. You would likely need to seek the help of a professional tax return preparer.
