The way I read the EPA website, I'm eligible for a tax credit for my high efficiency natural gas furnace I installed in 2023. https://www.energystar.gov/about/federal_tax_credits/natural_gas_propane_oil_furnace
I also see that form 5695 includes the following lines:
24a Enter the cost of natural gas, propane, or oil furnace or hot water boilers . .
b Multiply line 24a by 30% (0.30). Enter the results. Do not enter more than $600 .
However, there does not seem to be an option to take this credit within TurboTax Deluxe. I didn't figure this out until after I filed my taxes.
