I admit to being a Neanderthal in these matters. With this new 1099-K thing, the info I gleaned was to get the upgrade. I never received the 1099-K from eBay because I didn't sell much. Just wanted to be able to get the job done as accurately as possible. The upgrade seemed to be the easiest route. I started having trouble with my computer because of a Microsoft update that failed. As a result, I could not load my Turbotax program disk on my desktop. Had to do a site download. When I got to the eBay stuff the program kept referring to the 1099-K. Everything I read said to upgrade to Premire. Iwas still using Deluxe when I got a bogus Windows Defender screen, and almost lost all my bank accounts. All this in one week! I just went the route of least resistance and upgraded, hoping something this week would go right!
