So glad you started this thread. I filed early and also got this perplexing scenario. I WAS subject to AMT back in '21 and '22. I crawled through my old returns and entered the strange, arcane information they requested. And it did, in fact, seem to change some of the numbers carried through -- probably to my eventual benefit although it is all a bit cryptic.
