My name is on the house, but I didn't live in it or pay for 2023. My ex-husband lived in it and paid for it. Do I include it in my taxes?

I am buying him out of the house for 2024 so I will move back in and he will move out. I'll claim it for 2024, but I don't think that I would claim it for 2023 since I didn't pay for it. My name is still on the house because we didn't know if he would refinance it or me.
