How do I know if I qualify to receive a homeowner's exemption on my primary residence?

There is a new question while filing my state taxes that asks about the "Property Owner's Residential Exemption Termination Declaration". How do I know if I was to declare that I no longer qualify to receive a residential exemption or not?
