Previous solution does not appear to work. I suspect given that the IRS has just produced the 2023 form 5695 and only has produced a draft version of the instructions a couple days ago for said form, all because the "up to $2000" tax credit for an electric heat pump is new as of 2023, TurboTax has not yet had the opportunity to add the software to the system to guide us from our investment to the tax credit. I am going to give the company at least a few weeks to get this done. In the meantime, the system probably takes us to the line on the 2022 form, thus only giving a $300 credit.
