Yes, the credit is included in TurboTax Online software, and you'll be able to enter your certificate number.
To get to this credit in the Illinois portion of the program:
- Proceed through the state interview until you come to the Take a look at Illinois credits and taxes screen
- Scroll down and select Start to the right of Volunteer emergency worker credit
- Select Yes on the Volunteer Emergency Worker? screen
- Enter your relevant information on the Certificate Number screen, then select Continue
Keep a copy of your Volunteer Emergency Worker Credit Certificate with your income tax records. If requested, you'll need to send the information to the Illinois Department of Revenue.
