My solar and energy storage was installed and put into service back in April 2023, the due to various delays from inspection coordination, the permit to install solar won’t be finalized (passed) until 2024. For the purpose of claiming the 30% solar tax credit, should this solar tax credit be claimed for the tax year 2023 or tax year 2024?
