I inherited a condo 6 yrs ago, my mom and sis liv in it for the last 6 yrs, sold it. If I put the sale profit's into my 1st home mortage, do I have to pay cap gains tax?
Condo in NJ, Inherited for $50K value, sold for $135K 4 months ago. Paid estimated tax for Fed and NY State. 1st home in Upstate NY.
