I have filed my tax return for 2022, but have acquired an eligible EV on March 31 2023, if I file the 8936 form now, my turbotax says it increase my return by the 7500U$ limit, but does not explain how to do it now since I already file and already got my refund for this year. So, do I wait all the way in 2024 to file this EV credit, or file now and ask for another refund refund check now ? What is the process so I dont lose this credit, but also dont do anything wrong with the IRS. Does anyone knows ?
