This is a very old thread. You can no longer deduct self-employed medical premiums directly on your Schedule C. You can enter your medical premiums including dental and vision in the Self-employed Health Insurance Deduction section in TurboTax.
To enter your premiums for Self-employed Health Insurance you can follow these steps:
- Within your tax return, on the Wages & Income screen, scroll down to Other Business Situations
- Click Start for Self-Employed Health Insurance Paid and enter your premiums as the business owner
