I tried to follow your suggestion but I was not able to make it work right. In particular I am not able to get full deduction on the tax already withheld abroad (Italy).
Additionally, I believe I should also file a form 8833 (on treaty for the avoidance double taxation) that TurboTax does not seem to be handling via e-filing.
