To claim the credit:
- Open your return.
- Select State Taxes
- Go through the state interview until you get to the screen Any Nebraska Credits?
- Check the box next to Property Owned by an Individual Tax Credit.
- Click continue and enter your information.
Only school district property taxes qualify for the credit.
