Deductions & credits
What my advice to you is is to file an amended return leaving the 1095A off of the return. What you will need to do is print and mail your amended return instead of efiling it.
Include a detailed explanation or report informing the IRS that there was an investigation conducted and the marketplace has voided the 1095A. Be as detailed as possible tat includes all documentation received proving that the marketplace voided the 1095A. Be as detailed as possible in your statement.
If using Turbo Tax Online:
- Sign in to TurboTax
- On the home screen, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and select the year you want to amend
- Select Amend (change) return, then Amend using TurboTax Online
- If you're told to amend your return via TurboTax Desktop, follow the steps for TurboTax CD/Download below instead
- On the screen OK, let's get a kickstart on your 2022 amended return, select The IRS or state sent me a notice (this will allow you to amend only your state return without making changes to your federal) and Continue
- On the next screen, select Something Else and Continue
- On the screen Tell us which 2022 return(s) you want to amend, select 2022 state
- Continue until the Let's Amend your State Taxes screen. Select Amend next to your state return, and continue through the screens to make your amendments
