Deductions & credits
That is for reporting employee business expenses. That deduction was done away with several years ago for all but a select group of individuals on the federal income tax return. It references business related vehicle expenses, travel and meals. You may have made an entry in the Deductions and Credits section, then Employment Expenses, then Job-Related Expenses. I suggest you go back through that section and see if anything is entered there and if so delete the entry. You said you tried deleting the Form 2106, but I'm not sure if you did it by following these steps:
- Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
- Click on Tools
- Look under Other Helpful Links and choose Delete a form
Find the form or schedule you want to remove in the list and click on the delete icon to remove it.
