Start up costs for a business that hasn't opened yet
I have startup costs for 2022 for a business that hasn't 'opened' yet. If I say I did not start a business in 2022, can I still write off these expenses for the business? Do I save them for when the business officially opens? Or, since the expenses are related to my current occupation, do I list them as an occupational expense at this time?
