Deductions & credits

Thank you for letting me know I do NOT have to print Page 4.

Looking at my forms:  The 1040 is in the "View" section of my program and it is Printing the 1040-SR.  On Page 1 Line 12 I see the breakdown with only the $25,900 for the married filing joint and it says to "see instructions if any box is checked."   I also see it under the 1040/1040SR wks where it the same and to Quickzoom to Standard Deduction Worksheet where it still only has $25,900 on that form.  It keeps saying to "see instructions" but I have yet to get to "the instructions".  I click through to the "supporting forms" but never get Instructions. Usually TT puts information and instructions in the View are and in the Step by Step but I have yet to find it.

I had to Google the information to see that that the Standard Deduction increases by $1400 if you are Married Filing Jointly so I could understand where the $27,300 was coming from.

TT should put this somewhere to find. There should be a line on some worksheet with the extra $1400 listed on it.  The "Standard Deduction Worksheet" would be a good place.  Line 2 of this worksheet only has $25,900.  Adding a line 2A for the additional lines Checked off for Age/Blindness would make more sense than the way TT currently has it which only shows $25900 on all worksheets EXCEPT the 1040 where it is $27,300

I opened the PDF you attached in your reply to see the Actual Form 1040 and see the options on the Side of Line 12.  There also it says See Instructions as I have mentioned.  So where are these mysterious Instructions.
