I came across this thread and thought I'd chime in. From what I understand, the standard mileage deduction is only for motor vehicles, so unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to use it for your bicycle.
However, you may be able to deduct the percentage of business use from the cost of your bike. Definitely do some research on that and talk to a tax professional if you're not sure.
Also, have you considered getting cycling insurance? It's always a good idea to protect yourself and your bike, especially if you're using it for work. I recently discovered some info about it, and it seems like a pretty smart investment.
