Last year I tried to do my taxes using TurboTax, I also had a tax person do the taxes who had been doing them for the past several years. My results were different and so I filed using the tax person's results.
I found out that the difference was due to 2020 return and using the covid disaster relief form.
I would like to due my taxes this year, but it is not apparent how to get the info from his return into turbo tax.
I would like to get last years TT updated to match what was filed so that I could use it as the starting point for my 2022 taxes, but I don't see a way to get the 8915 info into it properly.
I have use turbo tax for years, but stopped for about 5 years due to some difficult tax situation. Now that those are over I would like to return to doing my own taxes. However I need to get past the 8915 issues.
Any help would be appreciated.
