I have lived in my primary residence for 5 years and sold the home in fall of 2022. During those year my wife used a very small office for her business? How do I file ?

We sold the home for a gain since we purchased 5-6 years ago. We don’t plan to buy a home but travel instead. Will I be penalized for not buying another home with gains tax?
