Form 1040 Line 34 Refund - Amount you overpaid is greater than Line 35a Amount you want refunded to you. The difference is $7 in net investment income taxes shown on Form 8960. Lines 34 and 35a should be the same because the $7 is already included in Line 24 Total tax, which is subtracted from Line 33 Total payments to arrive at Line 34 Refund - Amount you overpaid. Turbo Tax desktop will not let me override Line 35a to correct the figure.
