I entered my Mortgage interest reported on 1098 but Schedule A line 8a is zero instead of the interest amount I paid. Is this a Turbo Tax error?

I entered my Mortgage interest reported on 1098 but Schedule A line 8a is zero instead of the interest amount I paid. Is this a Turbo Tax error?
I can't manually enter the interest paid on Schedule A form. Is there another way to do so?
