I have a question on the "lifetime" max for the energy tax credits. Is that per house or is that based on my lifetime. If it is my lifetime I may have work to do as it was 10-15 years back when I had energy efficient windows installed (they were good for the time) I may not even have that paperwork.
Also TT is asking for the cost of the product not including the cost including the install. Unfortunately, that pushes me back to my installer to ask them for n itemized bill for a cost break down. (I did a lot this year, windows, doors, and insulation). Is that necessary only to not cut in on your lifetime maximum for the credit?
