Well, this problem is happening again for this 2022 tax year reporting, though a bit different issue.  When I manage to log into e*Trade via the TurboTax stock transaction income section, I get a "no files found for this account" error message.  It's the same account that TurboTax has remembered from prior years, and e*Trade has announced that tax forms are now available for 2022 tax year.  I can download them directly from e*Trade, but again that means manually typing in the data into TurboTax.

 

I don't know if the problem is on e*Trade's end or with TurboTax, but it defeats the much of the purpose of using the software (on-line version for me) to begin with.  Waiting for some resolution...
