On the review page, there should be a question and box on the top left for you to fill in.
Another thought, you might have an HSA that is affecting your medical. That is a completely different area. If you have an HSA, be sure all medical claimed on HSA and covered is not being deducted on sch A also. You can't use nontaxed funds as a deductible expense.
If using:
- Desktop: switch to Forms Mode and look for the exclamation marks to determine where the error is.
- Online: go back through your medical expenses and look for unanswered questions that coordinate with your deductions. When you get to the review page, scroll up and down looking for a box that is highlighted so you can read the full question.
