Please follow these steps to enter the air source heat pump cost:
- Log into TurboTax
- Search for "energy improvements"
- Click on “Jump to energy improvements"
- Continue until you get to the "Tell Us How Much You Paid for Energy-Saving Improvements" screen and enter the cost under "Energy-Efficient Building Property"
It will be entered on line 22 of Form 5695. Please see IRS Residential energy property costs for additional information.
