Thank you for this response. When I get to Federal Review, I still get the error message that Payer ID number is invalid. I've tried using all zeroes, all nines, etc. but I still get an error message. I don't know how to get around not having a valid Payer ID number. Since it's from an Indian bank, there is no federal payer number (and no 1099-DIV or 1099-INT). Thanks.
