It was a audit and yes I got my refund after they sent me letter stating that I needed documents to prove that I qualify for eic ctc how. I got a tax advocate that got my refund back but it took till like end of March which was quick considering had I not contacted the advocate it would of taken 6-12 months;( but yes I got it all back
