On your form 1040, the child tax credit and the child care credit have been subtracted from your tax to arrive at your tax liability on line 24 of form 1040.
Then your withholdings and estimated tax payments are subtracted to arrive at your refund or tax due.
You can preview your form 1040 to make sure that everything is correct.
- In TurboTax, open your return
- In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
- On the Tools Center page, click on View Tax Summary
- In the left-hand column, click on Preview my 1040
- Your form 1040 will display.
