Yes, if your Form 1098 lists your property tax paid in box 10 then you will enter it while entering your Form 1098.
Please follow the instructions below to enter your property tax from Form 1098:
- Login to your TurboTax Account
- Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1098”
- Click on “Jump to 1098”
- Continue until you get to the "Let's get the details from your 1098" screen
- Scroll down and enter your property tax
If you paid additional property tax not shown on your Fome 1098 then please follow these steps to enter property taxes not shown on Form 1098 (Mortgage):
- Login to your TurboTax Account
- Click on "Search" on the top right and type “property tax”
- Click on “Jump to property tax”
- Answer "Yes" to the question "Did you pay property or real estate taxes in 2021?"
- Enter your property/real estate taxes on the next screen.
