@9e8bfc6b072f the rules for the CTC completely changed for 2022. the regular CTC is limited to your tax liability and is not refundable. the additional CTC, refundable, is the smaller of the regular CTC remaining after reducing regular tax and AMT tax to zero or 15% of earned income over $2500, the general dependent credit of $500/child is gone. look at form 8812
