What is a foreign tax credit carryback adjustment?

I have foreign tax credits from 2011 - 2014, I have not used all of the 2011 credits, I realize I can't use them. But TT asked if I have a 2021 carryback adjustment, what is that? Is that from the 2011 portion that I can no longer use?
