My husband and I are married filing separately due to student loans. We recently bought a house this year and split the mortgage and property taxes 50/50. The 1098 form was sent in both of our names. How do I reflect this in our taxes. When inputting the interest and property tax paid, do I just divide by 2 from what is on the 1098 form?
