Good ideas Critter-3. But they don't work for me.
The 2021 version does not have the 2022 inflation-adjusted tax brackets in it.
Even in Forms mode, you can't go in and make form 8962 work around the 400% limitation. At least not yet. It just doesn't let you put numbers into line 11 like you need to.
In past years, the early versions of TurboTax were good enough for evaluating my end-of-year tax moves.
This year, not so much. In addition to the 8962 limitation, TT has yet to have the EV tax credit support in it. Of course, this was the year I bought a new PHEV. I'm sure there are many tax situations that it doesn't yet deal with accurately, and those affect others, but not me. Anyway, I digress...
