Yes, you will still qualify for these benefits, provided she is still your dependent.  And she should be.  To be your dependent, she cannot have provided at least half of her own support, even if you yourself didn't provide the support.  Since she is still 16, you will still be able to claim the Child Tax Credit as well for her.

And she can file her return separately to receive any taxes withheld refunded to her.  Likely she can file both her Federal and State return using TurboTax Free and not have to pay for either return.

Even though you may have put her friend's address down, if you have proof that she still lives with you, you still are entitled to the claim (although you may think as to why you put down the friend's address instead of yours).
