Deductions & credits
I did a test with a child born in August 2009 and TurboTax gave me the child care credit. Double check the date of birth that you entered. I assume you are working on a 2022 tax return. What is the child's date of birth?
What exactly do you mean by "not allowing"? At what point is it not allowed? Is his name in the drop-down list on the page that asks "Whose care did you pay for?" If he's listed there, I don't think his age is the problem.
What exactly do you mean by "it sees the age of him"? Where is it showing you his age?
Are you claiming the child as a dependent? Did he live with you all year? Does his other parent live with you? If not, are you the custodial parent? What is your filing status?
